The big renovation of the Downtown Luxury Slum is complete and although we still have a number of small projects to work on, it’s time to start looking for a new slum.

Since We’ve Moved In
We’ve been busy but I just wanted to share a few updates about life since moving in.

Certificate of Occupancy
Some final touches (like heat) lead to the house finally being livable. Why we need heat in the south in March is beyond me, but it seems to be important this year.

Getting Closer
We got appliances, lighting, more plumbing, and a lot of other finishing touches this week. And some island placement drama. Please weigh in on what we should do.

Kitchen, Bathrooms, and Deck

Whole Log Lumber
A little more work was done in the bathrooms, the fireplace was drywalled, and we returned the extra flooring to Zirconia,NC.
